Deal on Property is operated by Step To Soft Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in India at Module-21, Asansol Webel IT Park, Asansol-713304, West Bengal. For privacy questions, the data controller is reachable at privacy@steptosoft.com.

We collect data in three ways:

• You give it to us — name, email, phone, profile information when you sign up, list a property, save a favourite, or send an inquiry.
• We collect it automatically — IP address, device and browser information, the pages you visit, and aggregated usage analytics. We use cookies and similar technologies for this.
• From third parties — payment processors (Stripe, Razorpay) confirm transactions and may share limited billing details.

We use the information we collect to:

• Run the marketplace — show listings, route inquiries, process payments.
• Verify accounts and listings, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
• Send transactional emails (welcome, listing approved, inquiry received) and, with your consent, marketing emails you can unsubscribe from in one click.
• Improve the product — anonymized analytics on what works and what doesn’t.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in three cases: with service providers we use to run the platform (hosting, email delivery, payment processing); when required by law or to protect our rights; and with your explicit consent (for example, when you submit a property inquiry, your name and message are shared with the owner).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, write to privacy@steptosoft.com — we’ll respond within 30 days.

We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure for legal, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes. Listings are kept while published and archived for 12 months after deletion. Payment records are retained per applicable tax law.

Deal on Property is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us their information, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our infrastructure is hosted in multiple regions. By using the platform you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data-protection laws than yours. We use standard contractual clauses where applicable.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app banner before they take effect.
