For buyers and renters
Are listings on Deal on Property verified?
Every listing is reviewed by our moderation team before it goes live — we check that the photos, address, and price match a real property. Approved listings get a green Verified badge. We pull listings that go stale or that we can't reach the owner for.
Do I pay anything to use the site as a buyer?
No. Searching, viewing details, and sending inquiries to owners is free for buyers and renters. We only charge owners and agents who list properties on paid plans.
How do I contact a property owner?
Open the listing and use the inquiry form on the right side of the detail page. The owner gets your message by email and in the app within seconds. You'll typically hear back within a day.
Can I save listings to come back to?
Yes. Tap the heart icon on any property card or detail page. Saved listings live under Favourites in your account.
What if I find something fishy in a listing?
Tell us at info@steptosoft.com — we investigate every report and act within a business day.
For owners and agents
How do I list my property?
Click 'List a property' in the header (or in your dashboard) and walk through the 5-step wizard: basics → location → details → photos → price. Most owners finish in under five minutes. Your listing then enters the review queue.
How long does approval take?
Usually under 24 hours, often much faster. We notify you by email and in-app the moment it's approved (or if we need any changes).
Is the first listing free?
Yes — every account gets one listing free, with full access to inquiries, photo uploads, and the verified badge. To list more or unlock advanced features, see our pricing page.
Can I edit a listing after publishing?
Absolutely. Go to My Listings → click Edit. Major edits send the listing back through the review queue (usually re-approved within hours).
Where do inquiries go?
Straight to your registered email and to the in-app notifications bell. You can reply directly to either — both reach the buyer.
Account and billing
How do I change my password?
Profile → Account → Change password. We email you a confirmation when it's done.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Profile → Account → Delete account. Your listings come down immediately and your personal data is removed within 30 days, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Is there a refund if I'm not happy with a paid plan?
Yes — full refund within 7 days of your first subscription, no questions asked. See our Refund Policy for details.
