A short page about the cookies we set, what they do, and how you can opt out. We use the minimum necessary to keep the platform working and to understand what users find useful.
What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website saves on your device. Cookies are how we keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure how the site is used.
Cookies we use
- Essential— authentication (`sts_token`), CSRF protection, and basic session state. The site doesn’t work without these.
- Preferences — your theme (light/dark), location pill, and last-used search filters. Improve UX but optional.
- Analytics — anonymized page-view counts and aggregate usage. We use this only to improve the product.
Third-party cookies
Embedded maps (OpenFreeMap), payment widgets (Stripe, Razorpay), and any social media plugins may set their own cookies, governed by their respective policies.
How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in. Most browsers also offer a “Do Not Track” signal that we honour for analytics cookies.
