We're starting a small library of guides, market notes, and neighbourhood walk-throughs — written by our team and the owners we work with.
This is the first post on the Deal on Property blog. Going forward, expect a mix of three things from us:
What we'll be writing about
- Market notes — short, data-backed reports on what's happening in the cities we cover. Average asking prices, where listings are concentrating, where they aren't. Drawn from our own listings, not third-party reports.
- Neighbourhood deep-dives — what it's actually like to live somewhere. The streets, the noise, the school commutes — the things you only know after walking around.
- Owner playbook — how to price a listing, write a description that sells, respond to inquiries that convert. We see thousands of listings; we know what works.
Why we're doing this
Property platforms tend to publish the same tired listicles ("10 things every first-time buyer should know") that read like they were written by someone who has never bought a home. We'd rather write fewer things, and have each of them be useful.
